What does computer science Look like at Chaselea?
This academic year has seen the opening of our new computer suite that will allow our students to develop and put into practice valuable skills for life and employment.
It is our aim to guide and allow students to explore technology in a safe environment while investigating social etiquette, computer programming through Robotics, Photography and Animation whilst incorporating keys computing and programme or software related skills needed for the world of work.
We have developed an exciting, engaging and broad curriculum in the area. In doing this we believe we will create resilient, responsible, well skilled, qualified and independent learners, fit for the demands of the 21st Century.

With the support of a successful National Lottery grant bid, we have been able to implement a wide selection of alternative teaching resources.
LEGO Therapy is proving to be a big success at Chaselea. Building with bricks is a multi sensory, open ended experience that can be tailored to each students needs.
Through hands on experience students use verbal and non verbal communication, collaborative problem solving, or their imagination to design structures whilst improving team building and communication skills, as well as refining their fine motor skills.
